Facts and Figures
USC is a diverse community of 35,000 students and 21,100 faculty and staff who study and work primarily on the University Park and Health Sciences campuses. In numerical terms, USC's student population alone represents a community nearly the same size as Beverly Hills.
Working in close partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department, the USC Department of Public Safety (DPS) provides patrol-and-response coverage for both campuses and their surrounding neighborhoods 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In addition, the Division of Student Affairs employs 160 resident advisers (RAs) and more than 20 graduate-student resident coordinators (RCs) to support the 7,000 students who live in university-owned residences both on and off campus.
