Facts and Figures
USC is a diverse community of 33,500 students and 18,500 full-time faculty and staff who study and work primarily on the University Park and Health Sciences campuses. In numerical terms, USC's student population alone represents a community nearly the same size as Beverly Hills.
Working in close partnership with the Los Angeles Police Department, the USC Department of Public Safety (DPS) provides patrol-and-response coverage for both campuses and their surrounding neighborhoods 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In addition, the Division of Student Affairs employs 160 resident advisers (RAs) and more than 20 graduate-student resident coordinators (RCs) to support the 7,000 students who live in university-owned residences both on and off campus.
